Nobody Wants This Season 2 is bringing some eerie flair to the screen — and the cast is clearly having a blast stepping into their spooky alter egos!
Recently, PEOPLE captured behind-the-scenes shots of Netflix stars Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, and Justine Lupe heading to set in full Halloween party attire for an upcoming episode of the highly-anticipated new season.
Brody looked like a member of the undead, rocking a formal tuxedo paired with ghostly face makeup, darkened eye circles, and bold black eyeliner. Lupe took a page from the iconic Pretty Woman, donning a two-toned mini dress with edgy side cutouts. Bell, however, kept fans guessing with a mysterious look: a bold oversized purple plaid shacket with yellow stripes and mustard pants — her costume remains under wraps for now.

Nobody Wants This Season 2 Continues the Love Story
After its breakout success, Netflix renewed the romantic dramedy in October 2024, much to the delight of fans who were left eager for more. Nobody Wants This Season 2 picks up where things left off between Noah (Brody), a recently single rabbi, and Joanne (Bell), a sharp-tongued agnostic dating podcaster.
Series creator Erin Foster reflected on the show’s impact, saying, “The amazing team behind this series, from cast and crew to producers, made this all possible. Watching audiences connect with something so personal has been beyond rewarding.”
The story — inspired by Foster’s real-life romance with her husband Simon Tikham — celebrates healthy, sometimes messy, but deeply romantic relationships.

Nobody Wants This Season 2 Cast & New Faces
Alongside Brody, Bell, and Lupe, most of the original cast returns for Nobody Wants This Season 2. Timothy Simons reprises his role as Sasha, while Jackie Tohn (Esther) and Sherry Cola (Ashley) also return.
Brody’s real-life wife, Leighton Meester, is joining the series as Abby, Joanne’s old middle school rival turned trendy “Instagram mommy influencer.” Also joining the mix is Bottoms actor Miles Fowler, who plays Lenny, Noah’s Matzah Ballers teammate, romantically linked to Joanne’s sister Morgan.
The excitement is building, the characters are dressed to kill (literally), and fans can’t wait to see how this unconventional love story unfolds in Nobody Wants This Season 2.
