Chris Hemsworth, known for his iconic role in the Thor franchise, recently revealed his nerves while working alongside Halle Berry on their new film Crime 101. Despite being a Hollywood veteran, Hemsworth admitted he felt intimidated by Berry’s immense talent.
“I’ve admired Halle’s work for so long. I was definitely a bit nervous to share a scene with her, trying not to be in awe of her incredible presence,” Hemsworth shared at the Amazon MGM Studios presentation during CinemaCon 2025.

Hemsworth expressed that Berry immediately made him feel at ease on set. “Certain people bring out not just the best in you but a sense of comfort where you can truly explore new ideas. Working with Halle was that experience,” he added.
The admiration was mutual. Berry, who plays an insurance broker involved in a massive heist in Crime 101, praised Hemsworth’s character. “He’s one of my new favorite people,” she said. “Chris Hemsworth stood up for me during a moment in our movie, and I knew right then that he was someone I’d be a fan of forever.”

During his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Hemsworth spoke about asking Billie Eilish for a selfie at the 2025 Oscars, a moment he later regretted. “I thought, ‘No, my kids will love this,’ but afterward, I felt like I went from professional to fan in one second,” he joked. Despite the awkwardness, Hemsworth didn’t mind, knowing it would be a fun moment for his children.
