Cassie Ventura Testifies Against Diddy in Court

Cassie Ventura Testifies Against Diddy

Cassie Ventura testifies against Diddy in a major legal battle that continues to gain national attention. In a motion submitted on Friday, April 4, federal prosecutors confirmed that “Victim-1” — now publicly known to be Ventura — will testify under her real name against Sean “Diddy” Combs. The music mogul is facing serious charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution.

The court documents reveal that three other victims — referred to as Victim-2, Victim-3, and Victim-4 — have requested anonymity for safety and privacy reasons. Prosecutors are asking the court to ensure their identities remain confidential, citing the intense media scrutiny already surrounding the case.

“Allowing pseudonyms will protect these women from unwanted exposure, potential harassment, and emotional harm,” the filing reads. The court is being urged to prevent the defense from disclosing any identifying details about the unnamed victims.

Cassie Ventura Testifies Against Diddy: Shocking Allegations Surface

This high-stakes trial gained momentum after Rolling Stone identified Ventura as “Victim-1” earlier this year. Originally charged in September 2024, Diddy now faces additional indictments announced on April 4, 2025, by New York federal prosecutors. These new charges add more counts of sex trafficking and forced prostitution, linked to a second alleged victim.

According to the indictment, Combs and his associates manipulated victims by pretending to pursue romantic relationships before allegedly using threats and coercion to force them into what prosecutors described as “freak offs” — staged and abusive sexual encounters.

The updated charges claim that Combs “recruited, enticed, harbored, and coerced” Victim-2 into commercial sex acts, fully aware that these acts were a result of manipulation and pressure.

Cassie Ventura first made headlines when a disturbing surveillance video was released by CNN in May 2024, showing Combs chasing and assaulting her at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles back in March 2016. The video allegedly captures him grabbing her by the neck, kicking her, and taking her belongings.

While Diddy’s legal team has since argued that the footage was manipulated — claiming CNN edited the sequence and tampered with timestamps — Ventura’s attorney has dismissed those claims as a ploy to suppress key evidence.

“It’s no surprise Combs would try to undermine the truth. The video speaks for itself,” said Douglas Wigdor, Ventura’s lawyer. He remains confident it will be admitted in court and will play a crucial role as Cassie Ventura testifies against Diddy.
