A heartbreaking tragedy struck when a Gwinnett County missing child was discovered lifeless in a nearby pond following an extensive 14-hour search.
Gwinnett County Missing Child Disappears from Apartment
Authorities confirmed that 5-year-old Indi Bullock, who was non-verbal, vanished after leaping over the balcony of his home at the Reflections on Sweetwater Apartments in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 27, around 4:25 p.m. local time.
The Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) deployed multiple resources in a desperate attempt to locate the young boy. Sadly, Indi was found dead the following day in a retention pond behind the apartment complex.

Gwinnett County Missing Child Investigation Continues
Corporal Ryan Winderweedle of the GCPD expressed the deep emotional impact of the incident, saying, “It’s heartbreaking for everyone involved. It’s devastating when an innocent child wanders away and meets such a tragic fate.”
Authorities have stated that, at this time, there is no suspicion of foul play. However, an official investigation remains open, and an autopsy is pending to confirm the cause of death.
Indi’s mother, Chakia Carter, has since launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist with funeral expenses. “Indi was a bright, loving soul who brought happiness to everyone who knew him,” she shared in her plea for support. “His absence leaves a void that can never be filled.”
