Justin Ahkuoi attempted murder case has stunned the Honolulu community after a pregnant woman was struck while changing a tire on the side of the road. In a shocking twist, the driver turned out to be none other than the father of her unborn twins.
On April 8, 2025, the expectant mother, who was four months pregnant, suffered serious injuries after being sideswiped by a vehicle. She was trying to fix her car tire when Justin Ahkuoi allegedly drove toward her and hit her, knocking her to the ground.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, Detective Dean Terakawa responded swiftly to a call about a possible domestic incident. Upon arriving, he found the woman conscious and breathing, but clearly injured.

Law enforcement officers gathered statements on-site, including a compelling account from the victim. She told Officer Reggee Bailey that Ahkuoi had intentionally driven at her, clipping her on the left side. She fell after being struck, and according to her statement, Ahkuoi exited the vehicle and coldly said, “f— you, I just killed our two babies.”
An eyewitness backed up her version of events, lending more credibility to the woman’s claim that the crash was no accident. A formal complaint was signed on April 11, 2025, and authorities moved quickly to locate Ahkuoi.
Charges Filed in Justin Ahkuoi Attempted Murder Case
Ten days after the report was filed, Justin Ahkuoi was arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder. He is currently being held at the Oahu Community Correctional Center, with bail set at $150,000. As of now, he has not appeared in court nor secured legal representation.
