The kangaroo, named Sheila, escaped from her owner and made her way onto the southbound lanes of Interstate 85 near the 46-mile marker. The incident, which took place around 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, forced both northbound and southbound lanes of the highway to close temporarily.
