“This still doesn’t feel real,” Breanna shared in a heartfelt interview with The Country Loop. “I used to write lyrics on the floor of my room while listening to Carrie Underwood on repeat. Now, I’m with the same label—that’s just wild.”
Breanna’s journey wasn’t an overnight success. Raised in a hardworking household—her dad a diesel mechanic and her mom a school cafeteria worker—music was always playing in the background. Whether it was George Strait on weekends or Shania Twain on long drives, it all helped shape her early love for storytelling through song.
By age 12, Breanna was filling up notebooks with original lyrics. She taught herself to play guitar on a beat-up secondhand instrument and played everywhere she could—local coffee shops, school events, and county fairs.
Her breakout moment arrived in 2022 when her original track, Gravel Roads & Promises, exploded on TikTok. The song’s raw, emotional storytelling drew widespread attention from fans and music executives alike. “I write about real things—life, love, heartbreak, the messy middle,” she said. “I wasn’t going to give that up for a quick deal.”
That’s where Capitol Records Nashville stood apart. When label president Cindy Mabe heard Breanna’s unreleased song Paper Hearts in Gas Station Parking Lots, she immediately requested a meeting.
“Breanna is something special,” Mabe shared. “She’s got Miranda’s edge, Kacey’s soul, and Carrie’s power—but most of all, she’s got her own voice. And it’s one the world needs to hear.”
The deal was finalized during a private signing ceremony at the Capitol tower in Nashville. Family and friends flew in from Texas, and her brother even livestreamed the moment to their favorite hometown bar. As a surprise, Carrie Underwood appeared via video to personally welcome Breanna to the label.

Breanna’s debut album, Dust & Daisies, is currently in the works with Grammy-winning producer Jay Joyce. Described as a fusion of classic country, southern rock, and gospel tones, the album promises deeply personal songwriting and fresh sonic landscapes.
Her lead single Backroad Baptism drops this July, with the full album expected in the fall. Early previews from industry insiders call it a “powerful, career-making record.”
This summer, she’ll also hit the road as an opening act for Lainey Wilson’s national tour and is scheduled to perform on the main stage at CMA Fest 2025. There’s also buzz about a future collaboration with a fellow Capitol artist—though no details have been revealed yet.
But for Breanna, music is about more than fame. “I write for the ones who feel unseen—the underdogs, the brokenhearted, the ones still trying,” she said.
Looking ahead to 2026, she’s planning to launch a nonprofit focused on mental health support in rural communities—something deeply personal to her.
“I’ve battled anxiety and depression. And I know how hard it is to find help in small towns. I want to change that.”
