Big E Engagement: WWE Star Gets Engaged To Kris Yim

Big E Engagement

Big E engagement has fans buzzing as the WWE powerhouse, Ettore “Big E” Ewen, 39, shared the exciting news of his proposal to girlfriend Kris Yim on Instagram, Monday, May 5. The post gave followers a glimpse into their sweet and private celebration — including a custom dinner experience with a “til death do us [part]” menu theme.

He opened the post with a touching photo of him and Kris holding hands, her new pear-shaped diamond ring catching the light. Another snapshot captured the joyful couple beaming, Yim’s arms wrapped lovingly around Ewen’s shoulders.

A close-up image revealed the elegant engagement ring — a sparkling pear-shaped diamond set on a sleek silver band. One of the most emotional photos featured the actual proposal moment: Ewen kneeling with the ring box in hand while a visibly emotional Yim covered her chest in surprise.

To mark the occasion, the couple enjoyed a beautifully curated meal thanks to the Last Supper Society. Their menu featured personalized items tied to significant moments in their relationship, with the date April 13, 2025, printed on custom menus bearing their photo. The romantic setup took place outdoors, overlooking a peaceful garden, where the couple sat across from one another, holding hands and smiling.

“I can’t wait to be your husband, @krisyim,” Ewen wrote in his caption. He also gave a heartfelt shout-out to the chefs, saying, “Thank you, @lastsuppersociety, for making this day perfect.”

Big E engagement marks a special anniversary milestone

The proposal appeared to coincide with their one-year dating anniversary. According to Sports Illustrated, the couple started dating in April 2024. Ewen opened up about their first date in a December 2024 Player’s Tribune piece, recounting how they met at the premiere of “Tez and Bianca’s Hulu show Love & WWE.”

“I just felt a connection with Kristen I’d never felt before,” he said. “We were surrounded by stars and celebrities, but none of it mattered. It was like she was the only one in the room.”

Interestingly, he noted that if it weren’t for the neck injury he suffered in 2022 during a SmackDown match — which led to time off — he might not have had the chance to pursue the relationship. “Instead,” he said, “everything just aligned.”

Now, with a home together in Oakland and wedding plans in the works, Big E is ready for a new chapter. “It feels right. I’m excited for everything that’s ahead,” he shared.
