Godzilla x Kong: Supernova Title And Teaser Revealed

Godzilla X Kong: Supernova

Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is officially the next thrilling chapter in the Monsterverse. On Friday, May 9, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures dropped the film’s title, along with a cryptic teaser trailer that hints at the chaos to come. This sequel to 2024’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is set to crash into theaters on March 26, 2027.

The teaser offers a mysterious look inside Monarch, the secretive organization tasked with monitoring the Titans. As staff bustle through its high-tech offices, a voiceover reveals there’s been a spike in Titan sightings. One standout detail? A real working hotline shown on-screen — (240) MON-ARCH or 240-666-2724 — inviting fans to call and report Titan encounters. Those who do will hear a chilling pre-recorded message acknowledging the world’s growing danger.

The brief trailer doesn’t show much monster mayhem, but it cleverly builds suspense. The Monarch hotline adds an interactive twist, immersing fans further into the expanding universe of Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.

This sixth installment in the franchise will be directed by Grant Sputore. The previous film saw Godzilla and Kong teaming up to defeat a fearsome threat known as The Empire, which surfaced from the Hollow Earth. This time around, audiences can expect more epic-scale action and Titan showdowns.

Godzilla x Kong: Supernova Cast Features Familiar & New Faces

Dan Stevens returns as the energetic Trapper Beasley, while Rebecca Hall reprises her role as Dr. Ilene Andrews. New stars joining the chaos include Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Matthew Modine, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Sam Neill.

Speaking about the challenges of filming with CGI monsters, Hall said, “Trying to stay serious while imagining Godzilla and Kong is no easy task. You’re often acting opposite a tennis ball on a stick.”

She recalled a touching scene where Kaylee Hottle’s character Jia interacts with Kong. “They had a foam finger on a stick to represent Kong’s hand. It was pretty hard not to laugh.”
