In this performance, Söllscher plays Eleanor Rigby, a beloved song first released on The Beatles’ 1966 Revolver album. The original features Paul McCartney’s vocals accompanied by a double string quartet. However, Göran reimagines the piece using a custom 11-string guitar, adding depth and nuance. Despite the complexity of handling more strings, his performance is flawless, delivering a stunning and heartfelt version of the timeless track.

During his studies, Göran was recognized across Europe for his exceptional talent. In 1978, he won first prize at the Concours International de Guitare in Paris. His collaborations include working under conductors such as Sir Alexander Gibson and Claudio Abbado.
