Life With Phaedra Parks Sons Ayden And Dylan Today

Phaedra Parks Sons Ayden and Dylan

Phaedra Parks sons Ayden and Dylan have grown up in front of the cameras, but their mom’s favorite title has always been “mom.” The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shares her two sons — Ayden, now 14, and Dylan, 12 — with her ex-husband, Apollo Nida. The journey of raising these two has been nothing short of memorable, filled with love, laughter, and plenty of lessons.

Phaedra welcomed Ayden in May 2010, with his birth featured during her debut season on RHOA. Three years later, Dylan arrived in May 2013. While their parents split in 2014, following Apollo’s legal troubles, Phaedra chose to keep much of the divorce private to protect her kids.

“They need to form their own opinion of their father,” Phaedra said in 2017, stressing that shielding them from public drama was a conscious parenting choice.

Early on, their personalities stood out. In 2016, Phaedra shared that Dylan was “all brawn” while Ayden was “all brain.” The two brothers have always been close, sharing a playful — sometimes rowdy — bond. Despite being raised in the spotlight, she’s proud of the young men they’re becoming.

Growing Up Stylish: Phaedra Parks Sons Ayden and Dylan

From the start, Phaedra Parks sons Ayden and Dylan have shown an eye for entertainment. Ayden, especially, took an interest in the behind-the-scenes action and even fancied himself a producer. Dylan, once shy on camera, now talks nonstop — much like his witty mom.

Phaedra gave both of her boys nicknames: Ayden is “the Prince” and Dylan, “Mr. President.” Their contrasting styles are clear — Ayden sticks to school uniforms, while Dylan prefers designer pieces and is an avid sneaker collector.

In 2023, Phaedra celebrated Ayden’s 13th birthday with a carnival-themed bash and a surprising gift: $150,000 to invest in real estate. Though he wanted a dirt bike, Phaedra steered him toward building wealth early, encouraging him to explore rental property investments.

As for Dylan, his wild sense of humor keeps things light. From calling his toenails “meat” because he’s a “carnivore,” to shopping for sneakers online, he keeps Phaedra on her toes. Still, she maintains structure at home with clear rules: respect adults, clean up after yourself, and always be thankful.

“I’m proud of my boys,” she says. “They might be a little bougie, but they’re mine — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
