A disturbing video of a North Carolina racist incident has been making rounds online after first gaining traction on Reddit. The footage, which was later removed from the platform, quickly spread across various social media channels and went viral.
The video captures a white woman in a sweatshirt standing outside a parking lot engaged in a heated verbal altercation. At one point, she is heard justifying herself by saying, “Yeah, I have plenty of Black friends,” only for the video to later reveal her spewing vile racial slurs, including the N-word and other profanities.
Additionally, her companion was seen ridiculing the other women’s speech, but only the white women were caught on tape using offensive language, such as calling the Black woman a derogatory term and insulting her mother.

North Carolina Racist Incident Sparks Police Intervention
As reported by Atlanta Black Star, the video concludes with law enforcement arriving at the scene after the white women placed a 911 call. Despite being confronted by officers, the woman adamantly denied any racist intent, shouting, “I’m not racist! I am not racist. Don’t ever call me racist, sir!”
Her troubling comments didn’t stop there. She later claimed that Black women unfairly receive the benefit of the doubt in many situations. The officers calmly attempted to explain that using racial slurs is unacceptable, and she conceded that her behavior was out of character.
The viral clip ignited widespread backlash on social media platforms such as Instagram. Users condemned her actions, with one commenting, “Not racist??? Typical response to being held accountable,” while another added, “There’s no way she has Black friends if that language comes so easily to her.”

The Ongoing Reality of Racism in America
While the exact location of this North Carolina racist incident remains uncertain, vehicles in the video display North Carolina license plates. The United States has a longstanding history of racial tensions, from civil rights leaders like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. to contemporary movements such as Black Lives Matter.
Thanks to the power of social media, such troubling encounters are increasingly being exposed, allowing victims to share their stories. According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, systemic racial discrimination persists across sectors such as employment, housing, education, and healthcare.
Despite legal protections and ongoing advocacy for equality, marginalized communities—especially people of color—continue to face barriers to opportunity and economic growth.
North Carolina Racist Incident: Similar incidents have surfaced recently. For example, on February 25, a Black woman in Seattle was physically attacked outside her building by a white man named John David French. He allegedly hurled racial insults before assaulting her, leaving her injured. French has since been taken into custody, and the victim’s legal team is seeking $75,000 in damages.
As these cases continue to come to light, public awareness and activism remain crucial in the fight against racial injustice.
