    • 1 cup margarine, melted
    • ¼ cup white sugar
  • For the filling:
    • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
    • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
    • 1 cup white sugar
  • For the topping:
    • 2 cups boiling water
    • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries, thawed

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted margarine, and ¼ cup sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form an even crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  3. Make the filling: In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, whipped topping, and 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
